Yup, as a constituent of the new fangled Rutherglen and Hamilton West Constituency, here's how Scotland may pan out if the new constituencies are in place. Watch out for LAB HOLD ad nauseam!

Aberdeen North  LAB HOLD

Aberdeen South LAB HOLD Despite the Lib Dems being a close second, and holding the seat in the Scottish Parliament, Labour MP Anne Begg is fairly popular. Will only go Lib Dem if Labour poll less than 40% nationwide.

Airdrie and Shotts LAB HOLD
Angus SNP HOLD

Argyll and Bute LIB DEM HOLD. New boundaries make this seat more in play for Labour, but unlikely

Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock. LAB HOLD. More gerrymandering turns this Tory target into safe Labour territory unlike it's Holyrood counterpart.

Banff and Buchan. SNP HOLD. Alex Salmond territory!
Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk. LIB DEM HOLD
Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross. LIB DEM HOLD
Central Ayrshire. LAB HOLD
Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill. LAB HOLD
Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East. LAB HOLD

Dumfries and Galloway CON GAIN FROM LAB. Although represented by a lone Tory in Westminster, new boundaries make this seat lean Labour. Nationalists likely to fall behind Tories to outpace Labour.

Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweedale. LAB HOLD. A very very ugly looking seat as one quoted 'made up of the bits of Scotland left after the map was re-drawn' Effectively it is a three way toss-up, but would currently be Labour. The Lib Dem voters will take time to get used to the fact their votes are now effectively wasted, and may fall in line behind the Tories, but not this time.

I'm exhausted. More soon

Nice work... keep 'em coming :-)
Scottish politics gets confusing at the best of times... it's nice to have someone hear who understands it.

Behind the Tories? You sure?

Is Blantyre in the same constituency that you live in? Mate of mine lives in Blantyre and works in Hamilton.
