"A national tea party group is in revolt against House Speaker John Boehner and wants to see him defeated in a 2012 primary, arguing that he looks “like a fool” in the debate over spending cuts and makes less sense than actor Charlie Sheen."

Wait - I thought those were necessary conditions for tea party support? Huh

I said this after the election, and I still say it now--I don't see how he survives as leader of the Republicans with all the changes that have happened and are yet to come.

Poor guy. He's doing his best to bend over and be their bitch, and they still don't like him. No wonder he cries like a hissy every day.

You know, some years ago a sports journalist here in Greece said something very insightful talking about all those hooligans that follow our sports teams and misbehave wherever they go.

The Democrats will probably take by the House in 2012 anyway, should Obama be re-elected.

They'd have to retake the Blue Dog seats, and I doubt you'd even remotely want more of those.

I think we will be making gains in states such as California, Illinois, and Texas.

Dems gaining seats in CA & IL is essentially a fait accompli, given that the new maps will have to be more Democratic-favorable than the old ones.
