How many years of full control do Republicans need to send a repeal amendment to the voters?  Do you think this will happen between now and, say, 2022?

Full control for 4 years. So that's winning the State House and Senate for 2 straight elections.

Once it's in place, it's going to be tough to get rid of it (not that I think it should be overturned).  It will come across as very bigoted.

Does the governor formally have a say?
