Eliminated on round 8

Group 1 : Left-Green Movement (Iceland)

Group 3 : The Greens (Luxembourg)

Group 4 : Progressive Party (Iceland)

Group 5 : Union for a Popular Movement (France)

Group 6 : Danish People's Party

Round 9 now open !

I have difficulties to understand how SYRIZA is still there... Otherwise, UMP is the big surprise of this round (blame Edu ! Tongue). Can't say I'm traumatized, but I thought it would have stayed a bit more...

Well, it all strated well with NPA ousted in the first round, but SYRIZA still here... Angry

(after EELV promoted Roll Eyes)

I had no illusion in UMP and it's not a great party.

Group 4 : Democratic Party (Luxembourg)

Group 5 : Future and Freedom for Italy...

...and Social Democratic Party (Portugal)

It really seems like SYRIZA will stay there for a while... Roll Eyes

Just wanted to say that i would like to calculate the numbers of each group so far to make an informed decision, but the thing is that i'm quite busy right now and could probably do it in a few hours at the earliest.
I'm just warning so that Antonio doesn't think i forgot to vote, but if it's a problem then Antonio should not wait for my vote, i don't really want to be the annoying guy making everyone wait Tongue

Eliminated on round 10

Group 1 : Left Bloc (Portugal)

Group 2 : Labour Party (Netherlands)

Group 3 : New Flemish Alliance (Belgium)

Group 4 : Union of the Centre (Italy)

Group 5 : Fine Gael (Ireland)

Group 6 : Freedom Party of Austria

So the first phase is over... Wink It's been a really fun and colorful cycle, with some upsetting results, a lot of very close ones, and also a polarization which often doesn't follow ideological divide (I mean, I voted like fabie 90% of the time Tongue). I hope we can keep going that way for the next phase. Smiley

There will be two groups : Group A (left) with survivors from groups 1, 2 and 3, and group B (right) with survivors. Each will have 28 members, 13 of which will be eliminated during the 15 rounds of the phase. Once again there will be a couple of immunities and some direct promotions (though not as many Wink).

If you have any comments about what you liked or didn't like during this initial step, I'd be gald to hear them, so that I can take account of them in the upcoming cycle. Otherwise, I wish you'll keep following this survivor and hope you will enjoy it until the end. Smiley

My only wishes for phase II:
- start it slowly as I'm not here next week Grin
- forbid Edu to vote Grin
- forbid Hash to vote, except if it's in favour of KKE Grin.

Otherwise, no, I have no dictatorial tendency, I don't know why you say this Tongue.

Seriously, these were very funny rounds, I've enjoyed them.
Indeed, the vote was quite fair.
I hope it will still be the case in phase III.

Alright guys, the 1st round of Phase I should be beginning in a few hours ! Smiley

I just wanted to inform you that, since Fab will be out for next week, I asked him to give his preferences for elimination as well as for saving/immunity, which I will later use to cast votes for him. I know this is a rather unusual procedure, but I honestly think a survivor like ours can't afford the absence of one of its more influential voters. That's why I'll express his vote at the beginning of each round, and count it as a normal vote.

Of course, that's only if nobody has any problem with that. I don't want to be accused to favoring some parties (since it happens that Fab and I often agree), and it's not a conspiracy to piss off Edu either. Tongue I want to do that because I think it's the fairest thing to do. But if someone finds it unfair, Fab told me he had no problem on his votes not being counted. So, do we all agree ?

Group B : Swiss People's Party

Round 4 now open !

What a beautiful round... I thought this moment would never come. Smiley

Can't believe how many neoliberal "social democrats" remain.

The neoliberal left is an essential element of modern European politics after all. Wink And also, those parties are also those with the richest histories (Labour, SPD). Even if the present isn't bright, the past compensates it.

Eliminated on round 10

Group B : Progress Party (Norway)

Round 11 now open !

The Progress Party is the last party to go among the far-rightists... Can't say I'm sad the former group is entirely gone, but well, maybe just for the sake of pluralism one of them should have been admitted to the final phase. Wink Otherwise : AKEL immune again, meh... There is far too much vote split in group A.

Well, even Edu deserves a little victory sometimes. Grin And anyways the LibDems aren't by far the best party of the goup, so I won't complain... as long as SPD, Labour, CDU etc are left alone. Wink
