Well, I want to say two things.

First of all, why not?

Second of all, it would be better for our federal government budget to stop constant name changes of the executive building by each new Secretary. I mean, come on, people, think about all the money wasted by changing all the papers, charts, signs, informations etc. etc.
I assume this means you'll also support HappyWarriors bill to rename those airports after Atlasians?

I think we shouldn't name the DoEA after someone who will, inevitably, return to run that Department.  Name it after a departed Atlasian, like Colin.
I don't see what's the big deal with that. Using that standard, we'd also have to pick out a different Atlasian for RG and SoFE.

I think the Senate has more interesting things to do than rename buildings.
Agreed. And also, like Bgwah said, we'd be taking away a longtime tradition of Secretary's naming their own buildings.

While I think this bill has great intentions, I'm hesitant to sign this. One of the great perks of getting a cabinet position is getting to name your own building, and we've certainly seen some creative and funny names over the years.

Is that worth a veto ? I don't think the President should veto any single bill he isn't fond of, just those he honestly thinks he has the moral duty to prevent from passing because he feel they are a danger for the country.
Not necessarily saying I'd veto it, I'm still not sure. I just don't think this bill is very beneficial, and I think both Shua and Bgwah have raised very strong points on why this should not be passed.
