How come so many people think Red China is better than the US?

I'm not voting on wether one country is better than the other, i'm trying to look for foreign policy and by default i think that world powers foreign policies are bad (which may be my bias talking). That's why i'm planning on voting for The US, the UK, China, Brazil and France. The reason why i'm voting to keep China this round is because the US may go the distance in this survivor and it's better to nip it in the bud.
If it's ousted i'll probably vote for China and either Brazil or the UK next round.

Hey, the round ended before 1 full day, i just came from work and i still had time to vote Sad

Not that it would have mattered anyway since you people seem to like foreign policies that consist in meddling in every country wether they want it or not Tongue Grin

Eliminate
2 for The USA
1 for The UK (since Brazil isn't getting any traction right now)

Keep

I know, but your vote wouldn't change anything. Wink

That's why i said "Not that it would have mattered anyway..." Tongue But of course i'm joking, i've been saved lots of times by managers like yourself who wait for me even though i'm usually very late to vote Wink

I agree with fab that Brazil has a pretty hypocritical foreign policy, they want to fill the void in the countries where the US doesn't have a lot of influence right now. That means being cozy with Chavez and with Iran (the latter is not something well regarded here in Argentina since we are accusing the Iranian government of masterminding our 2 worst terrorist attacks on our soil) while talking about democracy and "first world imperialism". I'm always weary of countries that get close to being world powers because foreign policy is mostly about promoting your interests around the world and the more powerful you are the more you screw other less powerful countries to get what you want.

So I'm not too comfortable having a huge country like Brazil with a lot of power next to my country. of course there are some benefits but i wonder how long will they take before meddling in every south American countries business.

A Colombia - Lebanon final would have been interesting.
