Maybe we should ask the junior senator from Washington.

Lief is in great shape lately.

Did anyone notice more people smiling today?

Yeah, but I go to school with a lot of Giants fans.

When you've been QFT'd by CADan I think it's fair to say you've hit rock bottom.

I would not be surprised if gayness gets more popular over time. In fact, I suspect it is based on my anecdotal experience.

What exactly does this have to do with making men dysfunctional? The only thing you've noticed is gay people being more open about it - this is primarily because society has become more tolerant of homosexuality. The actual amount of homosexuals has not really increased.

That is another theory.

It's a better one that yours considering it's actually backed by science.

Make no mistake Antonio. Gustaf IS reactionary.
Heck, he even defended Palin when she made one of her usual inane statements that even Republicans didn't bother to pretend that made sense.

Nice to see that Ryan comes with his own prop, just like Palin with her special needs baby.

That's not "ohh snap", that's just plain rude.

Absolutely disgusting.
As a brother of someone with special needs, I agree-its disgusting.

Px would tell you his comments are meant to defend people like your brother because Republicans obviously don't truly care for those with special needs.  Roll Eyes

Actually I would say that politicians who use their relatives as props are disgusting.

Wow. Well, it looks like it's about time to start searching for employment outside of the United States.

Romney has connections in the Caymans, search there.

Keep in mind, there was a very small chance Romney was going to carry PA anyhow.  Actually, I'm not even sure why anyone really considers it a toss-up to begin with.  It hasn't gone to the GOP since '88 and outside of maybe '04, it wasn't that close in any other year.

It was close in 2000 also. This is the first time in 40 years the state isn't seriously contested.

Well, in all fairness, McCain in 2008 shouldn't have been contesting it.  It was not close in 1992 and 1996.

Says the person that insisted Obama would win Pennsylvania by 1%.

I thought it would be less, but not quite by one point.

You remember (or want to remember?) incorrectly:

I'm predicting Obama, but by 1.5 points, in PA.

No factual accuracies found yet apparently. Keep at it.

Scott, I don't think it right for young folks without much money to subsidize rich old folks like myself. Subsidies should be means tested - always. This aspect of Obamacare is not means tested at all (except low income young folks get some subsidy); rather it is age tested, and that is just wrong. I need to pay full freight, and then probably pay some more tax to help finance the means tested subsidies. Pbrower for some odd reason wants me to be subsidized. Yes, old folks will pay more than under Obamacare, but if they can't afford it, they get subsidized. Voila!

I don't think I am being conservative on this issue at all actually - just sensible and coherent (as I see it of course). I agree with the left that everyone needs medical services, and up to a certain level, they need them even if they can't pay for them, and that the subsidies out and in should be means tested, and we need an HMO system to help calculate the amount of the subsidies, since that is the most cost effective way to offer health care. Heck on this one, just call me an f'ing SOCIALIST! Tongue
The impetus is not on us to find 'inaccuracies' with a rag piece that doesn't actually provide facts... but opinions and hopes of failure about the ACA.

"Young peoples' premiums will go up".... "the subsidy won't make up for the cost increase"....

Do you have any proof of this outside of your conservabubble?

Keep trying, Torie!  Keep at it!  Relevancy in this debate is only one more Bill Kristol drivel piece away!

What's cute is how you pretend to care about the plight of poor young people.  "They shouldn't be subsidizing people like me"... yeah, can your pseudo compassion.  Pretty much every policy position you have is designed to puff up yourself at the expensive of young people.  So excuse me if I don't buy your sudden change of heart on this one issue.

I don't understand why pro-lifers haven't given up. It will never happen.
A general ban on abortion won't, but a late-term ban enjoys considerable popular support.

Yes, it was incredibly popular with a minority of the voters tonight.

Grimes should practice hunting turtles instead. Especially mutant ones that have morphed into human form.

She'll have plenty of time to take up a hobby after November.

Yeah, she doesn't have to move into her new Senate office until January.

But don't you dare bring dead children into it. That is despicable.

What is the more despicable reaction in your honest opinion.

"Oh no, more children are dead. Something must be done to stop this reoccurring!"

"Oh no, more children are dead. I hope this doesn't inconvenience my favourite hobby!"

ahh yes MSNBC. Geobbles would be proud.

Politically, it's a smart move.

The Clinton marriage doesn't hold up to much scrutiny.
First, there's stuff that came out in the 90s that would be treated differently today. At the time, Monica Lewsinky was seen as a young slut who seduced a married man. Now, the media environment's more favorable to her, and harsher on powerful married, older guys. The rape allegations would also be treated differently now.
And the Clinton marriage now is kinda weird.

The Clinton marriage is a marriage of convenience.  This is an open secret; Hillary, herself, doesn't pretend that her and Bill have some kind of "traditional" marriage of the kind my wife and I have.  They love each other and need each other, but "love" and "need" have very different meanings in the context of their marriage than they do for most of us.  All of America gets this, and has since the 1990s.  Besides, Hillary loves spending time with Bill because political standing and power are her aphrodisiac.  Bill has both of those things, and is in a position to impute them to Hillary to an extent.

I'm glad we're privy to the opinion of 13-year-olds on people's marriages.

The anti-Bernie hackery on this forum is reaching grotesque proportions.

On a related note, I hereby endorse Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination. Not because I actually support him, I just want to see the Hillary hacks' reaction when their 'inevitable' candidate turns out not to be so inevitable.

I'm sure that Sanders appreciates the endorsement of a 13 year old hack on an internet forum.
