On which actor would best portray yours truly, the prick, Badger suggested:

Wow, just wow.

What's the problem? I'm sure Vigoda's told plenty of people to get off his lawn too. Grin

Gramps is too surly to be Abe...he's more of a Walter Matthau...when Walt was living.

That's good, BM! Though not sure you need that last qualifier. Tongue

Actually Gramps reminds me more of Richard Masur.

Actually, Masur looks a little like what would happen if Gramps and J.J. stepped into a DNA splicing machine.

EDIT: There George---I'm spredding the love to JJ too. Cheesy

This obsession with Giffords running for U.S. Senate has got to stop. It's just not realistic.

It's so disturbing.  She still can't form complex sentences.  She has way more important things to do than run for Senate.

Yeah, certainly people just can't help themselves try to exploit a tragedy.

Yeah, it's really slimy. Like when those Obama volunteers beat up that poor white girl in Pittsburgh...

Not a burn on a forum member, but too stinging to just put in the Naso Institute

RE: Santorum's fundraising....

How on earth raising "less than $2Million" is great?

It doesn't take much money to attack a windmill.

Things Ron Paul Supporters Do Well:

- Have a strong showing in straw polls.

- Make their presence known in meaningless primaries (when the nomination is already decided. See: 2008 U.S. Presidential Primaries)

- Create funny ads.

- Internet Pros.

Yep, that's about it. Thanks, guys!

And what do Santorum supporters do well again?

Just because you say it does not make it true. Nothing said before the age of 18 is true.

Nothing I say is true because I'm under 18? Okay.

You're a valuable poster and you make this forum so much more enjoyable.

px gets two in one thread:

A full expiration of the 2010 tax cuts isn't quite enough to pay all these welfare queens that obama has put on the public dole.

True, but it will get the deficit into manageable territory. That is not to say that I support Obama's course of tax hikes without spending cuts, which will likely cause another official recession next year (albeit of a less severe magnitude than the last one since it will probably be more like the 2001 or 1991 recession). However, we obviously cannot have perpetual trillion dollar deficits.

FORWARD!

So that's how it looks when two retards are masturbating each other.

I'm assuming he was infracted for a personal attack?  If not, why not?

I wouldn't. HE (Politico) used the term first (albeit against an anonymous crowd vs. an individual); he merely had his own crude vocabulary turned against him.

Most Democrats, the moronic lefties... love to redefine actual events as inaccurate and paint over the inconvenient and painful truths;

Calm down, bro. A sizable portion of your party believes the Earth is ~6,000 years old.

Why is heatmaster back?

A better question: why does he even exist in the first place?

This deserved posted directly into the thread. Cheesy

Savor this:

BRTD, you treat religion worse than even the most annoying atheist of Christian fundie does. Because you treat religion as an accessory. To you it’s about what people wear, what people listen to and what they do with their hands a church and how hot the sermon leader is. That’s a twisted sense of religion buddy because you’re a vapid self absorbed sh-t. There’s nothing outside of you. Nothing outside of what you do, what you wear, what you smoke, what you listen to, where you shop or where you live. Everything can only be viewed through a Minneapolis based BRTD shaped prism. You can’t even understand why other Christians believe different things or worship different things or why people who aren’t Christian think your ‘Jesus is cool’ mantra is nothing more than t-shirt slogan psychology with no substance. You don’t care what people believe (or even what you believe) or ever take the time to think things through. If someone talks about a mass, or prayer or way of worship that means something to them because it’s not what you like you dismiss it; ‘Oh he’s wearing a suit, oh he’s playing an organ, I don’t have the attention span to deal with that because life for me is one big f-cking party.’

You’re the one who takes a two storey high dump on people’s beliefs BRTD and you have the cheek to call us boring? You’ve been posting the same topics, polling the same issues and generally shoehorning in things you like into conversations even if it has nothing to do with the subject on here for ten years. Grow up and move on. You think Opebo is cool, because you’re too unoriginal to come up with anything like his posting style and demeanour, or anything original at all. You know what? I’m pretty sure Opebo thinks you’re a dick.

Glorious.

Ditto. This is one of the most masterful posts ever made.

Long after the fact, but salud!

Dumping on Shakespeare should not be protected by the First Amendment. I consider that akin to treason - worse because it disrespects the English language (which he more than anyone else in its modern form gave birth to), rather than a mere political entity.

He was also gratuitous and whiny (setting myself up for something, i get it) and is placed on a pedestal for being the inventor of the cliche as well as the master of unoriginality before it was original. Essentially, he was the world's first bullsh*tter and is treated like a God for it.

You need to read Shakespeare when you become an adult. That is one of the most ludicrous things I have ever read. Sure some of what Shakespeare wrote are cliches - cliches that he invented, and are still used because they are so good.  No rage hath a women scorned, and oh the tangled webs we weave intending to deceive; all the world's a stage, but neither a borrower or a lender be for he has a lean and hungry look. Off damn spot!

With a mature mind, start with King Lear. And try reading the plays out loud with friends. We do that in my clan.

No rage hath a woman scorned was actually not Shakespeare. Not that I told that to the jury for whom I started my opening statement with that line. Wink

2. It's not surprising at all that neither Marokai nor Antonio bothered to make any sort of substantial argument.

What?!? MB itemized, link by link, statement by statement, direct compelling documentation of EVERY allegation. How much more 'substantive' an argument can one present??

I mean this litterally and without an ounce of hyperbole: WTF are you talking about?

If for some reason I do decide to have children one day it will not be because I actually want them, but only because I feel like the world needs more people like myself, and children grow-up to be very similar to their parents...

Yes, the world certainly needs more people who think this way:

I don't think father should be required to pay child-support for children born out of wedlock.  Our system needs to support and encourage traditional marriages, as the best way to rear children is in a two-parent household.  Maybe if women knew that they couldn't get child support if they weren't married, they would stop sleeping around and tell their fellas to "keep it in ya pants"!

Now, if a couple divorces then child support should only have to be paid if the parents have equal custody.  I don't think a father who doesn't have custody over one or more of his children should be forced to financially support them.  That would be like me buying dog food for my neighbor's dog.

Wow, that is an unexpectedly serious HP comment from Rockefeller. I'd say he's grown a great deal in the two years since. (Er, right Rocky?)

And of course the Obamabots rush to defend their messiah's Heritage Foundation plan. Obamacare is an utter joke, an insult to advocates of actual health care reform (i.e. nationalization) and I hope it fails. The neoliberal cancer needs to be exterminated, even if cutting it off may hurt.

The casual sociopathy of sheltered rich kids who'll never have to worry about losing their health insurance.

It's a bit rich to be mocking the casual sociopathy of sheltered rich kids whilst promoting 15% flat tax and the most regressive tax there is (VAT/sales tax). But I'm sure that's credible and serious discussion to all the liberals on here.

Obviously Obama's health plan is better than nothing, but it's one of those remorselessly unambitious plans (Heritage Foundation guaranteed) that kill off any hopes for a real reform (or in this case, a healthcare system).

I'm never quite sure how the left claims Obamacare, which was narrowly passed in the House after ungodly armtwisting, passed only through a supermajority in the Senate, narrowly survived Scott Brown's special election thanks to deft parlimentarly moves by Harry Reid, helped contribute (somewhat) to devistating midterm losses for the Democrats, survived WITHOUT the medicare expansion by one vote in the Supreme Court, has continuously been under serious attack from government shutdown, congressional defunding, etc. etc. etc. etc. somehow "killed off hopes for a real reform".

Isn't it quite obvious, pie in the sky dreams of a glorious single-payer system aside, that the political reality is Obamacare was as absolutely as much as could've ever been obtained in the forseeable future.

The possible exception may've been getting single payer, and that may be on the table again the next time Democrats control both Congress and the White House, but that's not what True Believers mean by "real reform", is it?

Inks, I am not wrong, I just don't care to debate it anymore.  Just because I don't want to debate things till I'm blue in the face doesn't mean I'm admitting guilt.  You assumed incorrectly on the Security Clearance and you are assuming now.  You know what assuming does to people, right?  Because, you are the one looking like an a**.

Doesn't contribute to the forum, so HP.
What do you contribute besides your inflated ego and hackish opinions? Oldies at least adds maps to the site, which is very, very important.
I contribute correct opinions.
You only contribute what I contribute to my toliet.
really? One of the lamest comebacks in Forum history, IMHO.
