Two in AR, four in LA.

Attack LA to MS, do or die, but stop if I'm not rolling more dice than the defenders.

Attack AR to TN; stop if I'm attacking with less than three. Assuming the attack succeeds, leave enough in AR so the two states are even as possible, with an extra if it's odd going in TN.

If the above attacks both succeed, Attack MS-AL do or die.

Await further orders.

(sorry hc, don't really have anywhere else to go)

Well, I guess it didn't matter if I took Florida or not, since I would have lost the bonus anyway.

Not quite.  When Bacon King seized Louisiana from you in the last round, he conscripted thousands of unwilling citizens for his doomed invasion of Mississippi, and naturally they deserted.

OK, I'd like them all in West Virginia. Attack WV-->Maryland as long as I have 3 attacking. If successful, move everything into Maryland and end turn. If not, await further orders.

Hmmm... toughy. 3 each on KY and MN, 2 each on OH and IA, 1 on MO. Attack MN-ND, stop if I lose two units. If successful, tactically move them back to MN and end turn. If unsuccessful, await further orders.

Smart moves for both Gustaf and Lewis. This is very very interesting. Numerically it seems Lewis is the strongest, but he's not in the best position to maintain that strength considering he's sort of right in the middle of things. Eventually he's going to have to fight two people at the same time, and with Gustaf being so easily fortified, I still have to see Gustaf as the favorite, but if he doesn't move aggressively soon, that good position he has in the corner isn't going to help for very long.

(Though if someone doesn't break Lewis' bonus soon, he's going to rack up numbers fast.)

Bacon King based himself in the Midwest in the last game, and seemed to do rather well. Smiley

I was surprised no one did. I had promised not to and said as much to the other players. It is, of course, looking very much like a repeat of Bacon King's performance.

Speaking of which...

I have thought hard about this.

I believe this gives me 15 troops.

8 on Montana
2 on CA
2 on OR
3 on ID

Montana-ND-MN do or die, wait for further orders.

Teddy, I am not going to violate our agreement, and I hope you won't, either.

EDIT: also, Gustaf, if you stab me after I took the hit none of the rest of you wanted to take and struck Lewis, I'll...
