I've watched the whole thing.  Season 1 is markedly better than any of the subsequent seasons.  The show was not the same after David Fury left to go write for 24.

It does have peaks and troughs though.  Things always get more interesting as they ramp up to a season finale, for example.

Towards the end of Season 3, and throughout Seasons 4 and 5, you do start to see some previously dormant plot threads tied together in interesting ways, such that you start to think "Hey, maybe the writers know what they're doing after all."

But then with Season 6 and the ending of the show you realize "No, the writers really have nothing interesting to say with this, and I can't believe how long they strung me along."

I hated season 6 but enjoyed season 5. Am I particularly weird ? Huh

If so, then I'm weird with you.  I thought it was really just Season 6 that was terrible.
