Bachmann or Palin: Who would do better in the 2012 General election?

Bachmann. She seems somewhat sapient.

Obama's campaign staff is quite competent though, & the odds of Bachmann not being torn apart are close to 0%, no matter how hard the GOP works to hide her problems. Bachmann may not be damaged goods yet, but it's at best an academic distinction.

Bachmann didn't go through 5 colleges or try to make up entire words to mask her simian understanding of the english language. Or quit midway through her term. I'd say that's a pretty significant difference.
