Berlusconi, simply because he's the most colorful of them.

Why?

I voted Schroeder. He is a moderate who is doing what he needs to do to keep Germany from going Bankrupt.

All these people are reasonably OK, and definitely preferable to Bush, with the notable exception of Putin.  But apparently Russians want a dictator.

I suppose Burlesconi is fairly bad as well.

Probably Zapatero.

Least favorite: Berlusoni/Putin

I don´t care much about the rest.

As Ernest said, he's the most colourful. He has a sort of tyrannical coolness about him, and he has a genuinely funny sense of humour. The other leaders are so bland, as is Europe in general.

That said, I don't like his way of ruling.

Blair.  Berlusconi is a little bit too much of an oligarch for my tastes.

Balkenende or Schussel.

Outside of the list Anders Fogh Rasmussen from Denmark.

I miss the age of great European leaders like Kohl, Thatcher, Havel and Walesa.

Centre-Right, a bit dull, best known for an... er... interesting... deal with the far-right Freedom Party.

Why is Kwasniewski's name all screwy?  Trouble with the spelling, eh Julien Smiley

Anyway, I voted for him.

I know - I still like him.  And certain things about Putin.  I think there is a lot of potential in Eastern Europe/Eurasia, and we should really foster those friendships.

And anyway, I suppose my political compass score puts me in better company with Communists than some Republicans.  No wonder I like Kwasniewski Smiley
