With the Tea Party movement just passing its likely peak, and the probability of Romney as the GOP nominee, will they suck up Conservatives. Will bigger names, like Tom Tancredo, and Virgil Goode run? Or will Libertarians fill this void?

I predict either Max Riekse or Jim Traficant will fill that void.

The Constitution Party is too liberal for the Tea Party.

There's two tea parties. One is pro-American and Constitutionalist started by Ron Paul supporters and the one is Neoconned by Beck,  Bachman, Palin ect.

I hope Virgil Goode is the nominee though. Since the LP is going to nominate Wayne Root and I can't stand him.

Well, looks like the Prohibition Party has nominated their candidate, a man from Hurricane WV, whose name escapes me....

Goode is the best bet for those hoping for a big name to run for the CP.

Glad others realize that there is more than one Tea Party.

Goode is the best bet for those hoping for a big name to run for the CP.

Goode would meet the same fate as Bob Barr and Cynthia McKinney: a former Congressman running under the banner of a marginal third party who gets talked up as a "name" candidate but doesn't actually get anywhere. I'd be surprised if he could hit 1% in Virginia, let alone anywhere else (aside from maybe Utah or Idaho).
