Quinnipiac finally polled Connecticut again.  Democratic Governor Malloy remains under water, with fewer than 4 in 10 voters approving of the job he is doing there, with pretty high undecideds:

Do you approve or disapprove of the way Dannel Malloy is handling his job as Governor?
Approve            38%
Disapprove       44%
DK/NA               18%

Connecticut voters hate the Democratic-controlled legislature even more than Malloy - 33% to 50%, though that hasn't mattered much in the past.

They are also sour on Lieberman (41%-45%) but approve of Blumenthal (54%-25%) and Obama (53%-44%).  Obama leads a generic Republican 46%-35%, with 11% volunteering it depends on the Republican candidate and 8% DK/NA.

Are you joking? Scott, Walker and Kasich would kill to have these numbers.

Actually, Malloy's numbers are more or less on par with Walker's when undecideds are taken out.  Walker's last approval was about 44% without undecideds in the last PPP poll.  Malloy's is 46% here.  Well within the margin of error.

Quinnipiac has a very high number of undecideds here - perhaps due to the lack of CT coverage in the NY TV market, which covers Fairfield County.

The poll shows him down, cinyc posted with a title reflecting the fact he is in the 30's. I assure you 38% =/= being liked.

He is at 38% because, as the poll says, 67% of us don't like him caving to the rich instead of fairly taxing the population to solve our budget problems.

The inverse of that is what cinyc frequently uses to defend said governors.
