... if we go with a Nordic sounding name (since in the regions area i'm making Kristiana the Royal Capital... yes you get your own city) my suggestion is:

Gull Vendene Hall Palace (english: Gold Winds Hall)

Gold in reference to the ancient lands of Asgard is Norse mythology... gods=kings, my idea is that settlers were so overwhelmed with how fertile the lands of Antilla were many thought this was Asgard on earth! many of the cities/counties i created revolved around the old Norse gods to some degree. Winds=island and they were mariners so ya...

my two cents

Not too bad, so far the leading candidate...I was looking for something that was less wordy...ie Buckingham Palace, (Rideau Hall), (White House) etc...

But as I said, its the leading candidate.

How many members do the Royal Family Have? Do we have a Queen? An heir to the throne? Other children, siblings, or grandchildren?

Ahem, I think that will require some thought.  Perhaps in private so that we don't clutter the palace as we look for all the skeltons in my walk-in-closets.

(The King mutters that he hopes someone in parliament can cobble together a caretaker government that can survive until the country is ready for new elections.  He then downs a gin martini, and makes his next move in human chess.  On his personal computer.  Pity he mutters.  The real version was so much more fun.)

(Palace staff are found to be gossiping about the record number of prominent batchelorettes that have been the king's overnight guests at various points during the last fortnight.)

(King found to be muttering about MPs needing to see the light and finding a viable government so that his royal funds can be replenished.)
