He's a pretty good example of what I think of the average person living in an exurb as being like.

I was actually going to vote FF and clicked HP without thought.  Subconscious is a crazy thing.

Perhaps our worst current poster.

I try not to dislike anyone just because of political differences... but he's fairly annoying. I suppose we all have been at a certain age.

The recent obsession with the belief that all white liberals hate blacks and draw districts with no partisan considerations and in fact no consideration at all besides preventing black representation is pretty comical.

Perhaps our worst current poster.

And Krazy. I'm interested to know if he's "going through a phase" as someone of college age or younger, or if he's older and somehow really that bitter and misanthropic.

He's the perfect example of everything wrong with politics.

It would appear that the forum community, just like America, is stacked against the suburban white male property owner.

Who voted FF (probaby Inks, but who else?)

I haven't voted, but he does provide some valuable content in some areas along with the stuff called out in this thread. I tend to think an HP has close to no redeeming value. Say what you will about krazen, but I can't say that about him.

I tend to agree with your analysis, both generally and re: Krazy, but his delightful attitude and a couple quotes like the one in my sig (NOT taken out of context; the bolding is even his) comfortably crosses the line to HP status. Racism does that in my book.

Chill, folks. He's an FF.

Of all the R hacks in the redistricting board, he's the most reasonable and (after cinyc) the most knowledgeable. And that's pretty much the only place we both post a lot in. Yes, his politics are horrid - but what else would you expect from a Jersey Republican (who's not a Rino)?

Yes, his politics are horrid - but what else would you expect from a Jersey Republican (who's not a Rino)?

The issue is not so much the politics as the constant tone of snide contempt towards the less well-off and Democratic-voting constituencies in general, suggesting his politics is based on a kind of active nastiness rather than mere substantive disagreements with the left or liberals over how to go about doing things - a characteristic not shared with, say, Torie's or jmfcst's advocacy of very conservative policy views on teachers unions and inner-city achievement in general, nor really with Cinyc's and Keystone Phil's broadly similar resentment-of-the-northeastern-suburban-middle kind of politics.

That is precisely what I expect from a stereotypical Jersey Republican.

I wonder if a union member ran over his dog or something. Because there is really no valid explanation for his extreme hatred of unions.
