Is it the case that no one can be eliminated on the first round, before the surpluses are distributed? I think that might be true but I'm not sure.

     Nobody is eliminated as long as there is a surplus to be distributed, since the distribution of the surplus can change the order of eliminations

I just notcied something. The quota for Atlasia IRV is the Droop quota. Therefore, (53/5+1)+1=9.

With 71 votes (after Junkie, not counting RFK since I don't believe he's eligible yet) the quota is 11.

I'm guessing Jbrase beats Ben in the last round for the 5th seat, but if Shua survived the second-to-last round...

... then what?!

(I'm pretty sure I don't though. Looks like I just barely fall below Jbrase in the count, and then give him almost all my vote and he gets the quota in the last round.)

It looks to me from estimating: Ben is ahead of both me and Jbrase in the second count. It's only when I get eliminated that Jbrase surges ahead of homely and Ben and meets quota.  The last spot is then between homely and Ben, which homely wins due to the many surplus second preferences.
