I think Kerry may not have been the best candidate but he would have been the best President.  He had the best resume of anyone 'applying for the job' of anyone in my lifetime.  He understood that 99% of the issues aren't black and white.

If you hated Kerry for his attendance record then you REALLY would have hated Lieberman.  Sure, Kerry missed the most for the campaign year but over the last 5 years Lieberman has missed more than any other current Senator.

Zell Miller would have made the best president.

Yeah, he would have called up Putin and challenged him to a duel.

That's why he would have made the best President.

Geez ... if that's the attitude you like then surely you should adore LBJ.
