Huh. I have never heard of these guys so I am not sure whether they are like Zogby or not. Maybe we will see more polls from them and find out.

Also, this isn't Paul's polling firm. That would be Wenzel.

Probably Paul hacks who overcalled his district in this "random" sample.

Considering this is the Azimuth Group's first ever poll, it is quite possible that the answer is yes.

If this is legit then wow. But a polling sample that small in a state that big would not have a MOE that small...

ITT: people don't get statistics.

That said, 882 should be ~3% MOE, not 2%.

Gary Johnson leading the names below him is suspicious enough.

I can believe Paul is ahead of Perry, but no way in hell is Johnson that high. Or for that matter Gingrich.

Sadly, the poll is likely wrong. "sniff sniff"

I don't think Johnson is anywhere near 9% in Texas but I am sure he is known in the area bordering NM and I know he is starting to be known on college campuses.

They admit that they only polled Ron Paul's district - sort of:

Besides, as Mikado poํnts out they don't know statistics. It wouldn't be 2% MoE with 800 respondents (and size of the state does not matter!)

On how there method was different: "Basically, they polled voters and we polled more of the grassroots party activists who will influence those voters"
