On our lack of female posters:

Perhaps we can remedy this by placing images of big black cocks in all of our signatures.

Actually, I can think of about 30+ people who would love that who are not females.......

Is that 30+ figure including you or not...

Thankfully your lips aren't moving after forming the O-shape they need to do their job.

51% of Nevada Republicans think prostitution should be legal. Only 31% have a favorable opinion of Sharron Angle

Are there things she won't do?

Also just like turning water into wine, Jesus could turn Rochambeau's entire posting history into one full of substance and valuable insight. Now that would be quite the miracle.

Honestly, I think you have to go with Santorum by default. Seriously.

Holmes, stop posting political comments with which you disagree. I laid out an argument which wasn't comical at all. Get over your little obsession. Thank you.

It's reassuring to see that during the debt ceiling negotiations, inspiration was taken from this body's esteemed Chairman for the creation of the congressional 'super-committee' tasked with researching which federal spending programs should be cut.

Sadly, I soon see the Teabaggers settling on Mike Naso's proposed bill: 50% across the board tax cut, paid for by repealing the Healthcare Reform Act.

I'm sorry that the four times I've ever posted something in the goldmine were not to your liking (once was someone typoing "ass" instead of "add", I obviously disagreed with his politics on that), or that you think Santorum are better presidential choices than Toomey or Corbett. But I'm not gonna take the bait any further, enough goldmines have been ruined by that behavior, thanks. Smiley

Yeah, of course we elect politicians in order to let them sit down, make a few solemn speeches and take their consequent salaries. Who's the idiot who wants them to enact policies ?

You.

Actually, dumb, the poll and my answer had absolutely nothing to do with who I thought would be a "better Presidential choice;" it was a question and answer based on who was more likely to become President. Please note. Thanks.  Smiley

Will said committee only be cutting taxes for certain districts?

One I think learned from joining this board as a teenager was that there's no correlation between who I like more and their pm score. Some of my favorite people on here I disagree with a lot  - I care more about how people conduct themselves than if they agree with me when it comes to something on the internet - this isn't a dating site (thank God).

Also this question is totally silly, since this kind of gap could occur for a +6, +8; -1 + 1; or a -6 -4... all examples would be very different, I can't think of a single a common factor would stem that from the lower econ score.

I liked the emphasized part, because it seems to imply that dating should be based on agreement about things on the internet and specifically on pm scores.

In the old days, if you liked to examine the buttocks of children, you became a priest in Ireland.

If you're into that sort of thing nowadays, then you become a judge in Texas.

plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose  (That's French for "old pervs never die.  they just change jobs.)

You guys may actually want to read the articles.

I assume when I make a purchase ANYWHERE on the internet this information is retained.   I really don't see what all the fuss is about.  It could place a larger record keeping burden on ISPs but other than that I don't see what the problem is.  If they began tracking and storing my browsing history then I would be upset.

Again.  Am I missing something?

But what does this have to do with protecting children from seeing tits?
Nothing. You cant stop that. Believe me. This is really about Johhny Law and Big Brother coming on in to control us even more.

Classic Carl

Thing is, CARL, I support a balanced budget and even a balanced budget amendment, if were sensible.  S.J. Res. 10, the favored version of the Congressional Tea Party, with no mechanism to provide for counter-cyclical spending during economic downturns is not sensible. Not only that, but with its spending cap, and supermajority tax provisions, it doesn't really deserve to be called a balanced budget amendment as the balance budget portion is simply the sheepskin to cover the wolf inside.

No, you support more taxes, higher taxes.

I'm surprised nobody has put it there yet :

Gather around children because I am about to tell you the tragic tale of how the Atlas Forum Mods came to be.

Once upon a time there was a young boy at the tender age of fourteen
He was madly in love with this girl who had a penchant for caffeine

For months he agonized how to profess his undying love
Suddenly it came to him in the form of a dove

He put a note in this girls locker to meet him at three
Behind the tool-shed right near the old willow tree

At a quarter past three she finally came
It was time to tell her everything without any shame

"Why have you called me here" she said with a stammer
The young boy was in shock, like he'd been hit with a hammer

"For as long as I've known you, I have watched you from afar
Your eyes remind me of the biblical North Star"

They both stood in silence as he awaited her reply
At last she spoke but with a great big sigh

"I'll never date you because you are creepy"
These words hit home and made him very weepy

She continued on into something of a rant
It was very clear she would not recant

"You sit in class and draw gerrymanders for Vermont
I want to date someone who buys me a croissant"

The boy was crushed and his sadness turned to rage
He had enough of society in this day and age

"If you won't love me, then my affection I will retract
And instead I have no choice but to infract!"

A bloodcurdling scream filled the air
She was dead and frankly, he did not care

"You have done well" a voice said from behind
"It is better to be cold and very much unkind"

"My name is Dave Leip and I must say I like to oppress"
Join me and you can take out your frustrations in any way you wish to express"

And that is how the Atlas Forum Mod came to be
It is a very sad tale, as you can plainly see
