Anyway, there are issues with JJ but he isn't anywhere as ridiculously insane as opebo. Anyone who knows anything about the issues they post on could tell that.

I found the above quoted Jmf post very funny.

There is a dangerous trend of people quoting themselves into the goldmine though. Stop it.

straying out of your jurisdiction and attempting to encroach on another mod's turf, eh?

Why doesn't he have his own talk show? It would definitely be the highest rated.

What do you think should be the campaign theme songs for the 2012 candidates?

In all seriousness, I think President Obama should use "Rose Garden" by Lynne Anderson.

The lyrics are perfect

I beg your pardon,
I never promised you a rose garden.
Along with the sunshine,
There's gotta be a little rain sometimes.
When you take, you gotta give, so live and let live,
Or let go.

Plus using "rose garden" can second to the White House Rose Garden.

What you perceive as different moderators are really all part of the same entity known as the Local Internet Surveillance Team. The different personalities of moderators have merely been constructed to make the whole seem more human and accessible.

DeMint has a picture of Joe McCarthy on his office wall.

And on his bedroom ceiling.

I didn't mean to add Gingrich.  Oops.

Your fingers slipped, and accidentally typed "Newt Gingrich"?

Not too uncommon.  Hit your keyboard randomly a few times and see for yourself...

2)If the Supreme Court does review the constitutionality of the mandate, how will they rule?

I think it will be a 4-4-1 split, all conservatives objecting on the basis of the Commerce Clause, with Anthony Kennedy being the deciding vote.

What I want to know is what would happen if Kagan recuses herself and there is a 4-4 deadlock?

There's no reason for her to recuse herself.

I think she was somehow involved with the process, but I don't know what role that was.

USA: You have two cows, because that's all you can really afford and organic food is a 'big money making opportunity' (or so you've heard). You try to sell their unpasteurized milk locally to yuppies and well meaning granola-crunching college students. The FDA raids you for not being sanitary, while the factory farm getting tax payer money a few miles away recalls millions of tainted eggs the inspectors ignored. You try to go 'legit' but go bankrupt from the new fees, ordinances and federal regulations you do decide to comply with, while people 'too big to fail' are again given 'emergency loans' (with your tax money). Everyone tells you that you should feel great to live in the freest country in the world, while you're living out of your car.

It's only a quiz, you know. No need to get outraged about everything.

Never say that to a Times Crossword enthusiast.

I don't think Bachmann is so establishment that she is poison to Paul voters.  She certainly doesn't have the creepy Bilderberg, CFR, Fed and wall street cabal connections that the other candidates do.

Ohhhh, my friend. I fear you are mistaken. They never would have let her get so far if she wasn't their puppet. Bank it. Then burn the bank to the ground cause you've got all your bitcoins saved in tin cans buried in the back yard next to your fallout shelter.

You dems keep thinking it will be 2008 with some economic hardships. It won't. It's going to be completely different.

The edge almost always goes for the challenger. This was true for Kerry, Dole, McCain, ect.

Single women: scourge of mankind!

If single women didn't vote, Bob Dole would have been elected President. Hell, one can even speculate that if single women didn't turnout, John McCain would be President. You really think single women are gonna "stick with the President" with unemployment at 9% or higher?

Rick Perry might earn my primary vote if it means more Naso posts.

He... hit on Obama a little, so, being a democrat, he'll attract a few disaffected liberals.
