Sigh, was my question really that difficult to answer sort of intelligently?

I don't know, but neither it nor his responses were humorous.

It looks like I would be on opebo's bad list!  Tongue

Try to soldier on somehow, good chickenhawk!

Of course!  I like to pepper my speech with Gay Slang - keeps 'em guessing.

"Broken"  Hilarious!

Well I only used the Facebook for about two weeks and it is, unsurprisingly, already broken.  It appears to be infected with viruses and I cannot see my account.  Ah, what wonderfulness is the modern technology.

Yes, archaisms are a form of humor I enjoy, though I hardly think it worthy of the Institute.

the context is important

Ok I did exactly as that said, Bullmoose, and of course it did no good at all.

How do you mean? In light of the previous post?  Obviously I figured out a way to get to the specified file.

Mostly that you mistake Bacon King for bullmoose.

Oh I do that to both of them almost every time.

Sigh man...sigh.

Oh come on, you're both moderate heros with about the same political spectrum score, no?

Ok I made a cross-thread reference.. is it funny?

And in the spirit of the thread, cheers to the lads in Tottenham.

I too am revolting against my lack of Apple brand electronics.  Accordingly, I think I'll go burn down a Turkish dude's clothing store.

Its a step in the right direction, contrary to those unrealistic here..

Reminds me of a similar joke I made years ago, simply by posting a picture of a Viagra packet.

I'll admit this made me chuckle a bit, even if it is mind-numbingly stupid:

Jesus:  Yo, Nathan, buddy, please pass me the salt.

Nathan:  Here you go, my Lord, here's pepper.

Jesus:  Nathan, remember how I promised to throw you in the lake of fire last?

Nathan:  Yes, my Lord, you did.

Jesus:  You misinterpreted, for the First shall be Last, and the Last shall be First!

In the movie of jmfcstverse, Jesus is played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, and I'm apparently Timothy Spall or something.

And you know? I find it impossible to be offended by this.

Guys, the reason this was funny is because it is mind-numbingly stupid.

Posting yourself into the goldmine is, of course, an excellent example of a different kind of masturbation.

That is true, Al, but I have no shame.  And anyway I wanted to preserve that tidbit about your parts.  Can you really blame me?

Opebo just ended his reign as a comic genius by posting one of his own works in the Institute.

Perhaps he has a sock and accidently posted it under the wrong name?

No, I've done before several times anyway.  KP you old stick-in-the-mud - you must admit it was a funny.

Honestly it is hard to believe and terribly disturbing that one meets persons here who have not read Kafka.  What is the point of engaging suchlike?

God wants you to put your money in a bank account and do your job.  Rest assured, He will punish you if you do otherwise.

Alright we'll see how much the people of the UK are willing to put up with this when their inflation rate passes 10%.

Then we'll see if the UK can maintain their precious low cost of capital at current monetization rates.

Both of these things are not long off. So enjoy today UK because it definitely isn't going to last long.

Just you wait, 'enry 'iggins, just you wait!
You'll be sorry, but your tears'll be to late!
You'll be broke, and I'll have money;
Will I help you? Don't be funny!
Just you wait, 'enry 'iggins, just you wait!

I'm actually in the process of writing him a personal letter right now XD...

Ron Paul walks the walk. He does not come across as "flashy" or charismatic. He is not a great debater. But he does come off like a grandfather figure. He comes across like a Church deacon who always says the right thing at the right time. He does not encourage violence, but challenges the establishment openly and loudly.

In a way, we could ask "what was Martin Luther Kings appeal", or "what was Barack Obamas appeal?". They gave people hope. Paul gives me hope. In 2007, when I was 11, my Grandma took me to see Rudy Giuliani. I shook his hand yada yada, but he never inspired me. I just believed that all Arabs were terrorist, and that Bush was good, and Clinton was a Communist, etc. Then my Grandpa passed away. My Grandpa lived in North Carolina, and I never was close as I should of been with him, so I got a hard (yet, not overly depressing) lesson in life and death. Soon I realized that this is just a fraction of what a mother who finds our her son died in Iraq feels. I started to become anti war, and by the time I joined here, I was pretty much a complete Paultard.

Paul's appeal is that he really isn't appealing. If he believed in what Rudy, Mitt, and McCain believed in, he would just be another Duncan Hunter. But he is not. He sticks out, and he does not abuse religion (which makes me love him more, being "born again" since Spring) for gain, he does not make fiery speeches, he simply spreads a good, Christian, peacefull message.

That's why he appeals to me.

An extremely dangerous individual who must be dealt with at some point.

I heard he is a coprophiliac who likes to get sex and then stiff the girl.

That is a vile lie. I always take care to kill them first. I feel that is the gentleman way to go about it.

Funny cause it's true.

You guys do know that 'stiff the girl' means to not pay her, right?  It doesn't mean to make her into a 'stiff'.

What the hell do you do with your girlfriend outside of eating dinner and listening to her complain if it isn't f**king the living s**t out of her?

It's sunny out, I'm enjoying my day off, I have the sun glaring at me as I log on the forum and I see depressing things that bring me down.

Warning:  You are NOT a day-walker!

Yeah I didn't get it, but I hardly think we should be critiquing posts by graphic design.  Content is what matters.  I say that because I don't know how to use the graphic design.

I'm enjoying Al's thread reviews lately.

This is an extraordinarily stupid thread.

This thread is deeply embarrassing on so many levels.

One wonders if we mere mortals could get away with such comments - I greatly doubt it.  Though it isn't a direct 'personal attack' on a particular poster, it is a 'personal attack' on all who posted in the negatively reviewed threads.  And obviously it is 'trolling'.

Happily the doctrine of 'personal attack' has yet to be extended to such absurdities.

For you.
