What did I say that was 'looool'-worthy?  (Is that pronounced as spelled, by the way?  Like 'drool'?)

looool means Legitimate Opinion with Obviously Objective and Ordered Logic.

I'm trying to remember what started the meme though - the election of Pat Toomey?

You're correct.

Roach,

please kindly good sir if you would be so bold to extinguish thyself in a roasting furnace of roaring flames over the temperatures of 800 degrees Farenheit.
Not only for the good of the forum, but for that of the human race as well?

Your nonviolent protests are admirable, Rochambeau, but I think it's time to take it up a notch.

Why do you feel the need to use ethnic slurs in the first place?

You clearly didn't notice this:

Let's try some non-fictional stories:

1955: Elizabeth Eckford, a star student, transfers into Central High School.

Wow, the good old days were swell.

But she was bringing in hip-hop culture!  It wasn't about race!

Jfern doesn't understand how primaries worked before 1972.

So, there was an incumbent President who ran for re-election.
He got less than a third of the pledged votes in the primary, less than that the combined total of 2 governors who challenged him.
He won only around 60% of the primary states.

Clearly he went down in flames in the general election.

Oh wait, LBJ won in 1964 by 24 points. So much for that stupid meme.

Oakvale is first person from Ireland I've "met" who likes good music (referring to display name).

Oakcale seems more similar to a real life person than most other posters.

Typical Atlas poster:

Blubber strikes again!

I've just heard on good authority that Santorum is planning on dropping out of the race within the next week or two.

Why am I excited about this?  Well, turns out he might be getting ready to jump into the Senate race.  Smiley  Yes, it'd be great to see Santorum in the White House ... but the next best thing would be to watch Casey go down in flames.

Another gold from Blubb!

Barack Obama is the worst thing that ever happened to the Democratic party.  He should gracefully announce that he is not running, and the Democrats should not field a replacement.  If Democrats just concede the presidential election off the bat, then there will be more independents showing up for primaries and we can choose a somewhat sane Republican (Romney) over a crazy tea partier like Perry.

Obama should not run again, for the good of the nation and for the good of the party.  Why should the DNC spend billions of dollars propping up this failed Presidency.  Instead we should try to save seats in Congress and focus on winning it back in 2014.  If Obama wants to save American liberalism, he should do it.  He won't though because he is an egotist, if Democrats dropped below 100 seats in the House he wouldn't care as long as he was still President.  He's a maschosit who loves being scrwed over by the Republicans.
