Oh, no, no, no. Homely just needs to find a girl who'll appreciate his cartographic talents. Someone with whom he can pass the evening cuddled up alongside an atlas.

Why the hell is she looking at a topographic map of Cyprus?

Why the hell does it matter?

Of course. If you look back through history, you'll see that the Mississippians, the Atlanteans, the Pascuense, the Polynesians of the Pitcairn Islands, the people of Malden Island, the Norse of Greenland, and so many other civilizations were destroyed by those two great scourges of man, video games and free porn.

I did actually specifically choose those because they actually could have been destroyed by video games and free porn.

If you rearrange the words & use alternate definitions and sometimes guess at what stuff means, it's

You're using BOB DOLE as an example of a credible Republican?! LOL Bob Dole was, is and will forever be (in my opinion) a liberal (which as a side note is why he lost to Clinton in 96). Of course his ideas are anathema to the Freedom Party.

I find it quite interesting you're using the term Freedom Party to refer to the GOP. Are you a fan of Harry Turtledove? The Southern Victory series is quite well done.

I was actually referring to the Tea Party, but it applies to the GOP too since we're taking over

He doesn't get it...

The Freedom Party was a far-right political party in Harry Turtledove's Southern Victory series of books which espoused right-wing populism, anti-socialism, Confederate nationalism and white supremacy.

Critique: The "authoritarian anarchists" bit is redundant, being already covered in the phrase "socially conservative libertarians."

Just taking it to the extreme (libertarian to anarchist, soccon to authoritarian).

There's nothing contradictory about a socially conservative libertarian.

Nothing contradictory at all about someone calling themselves part of an ideology that believes in personal freedom as well as one that attempts to ban such personal freedom?

You can be personally very socially conservative without believing that government should enforce those personal beliefs on others.

It was originally in reference to Pingvin...

[One that doesn't want to] end all foreign policy. Or literally abolish half of the federal government.

Paulites are historical revisionists. They have to be, considering that their ideology was proven not to work nearly a century ago.
