I wish I could find ABC's 1968 coverage, but Vanderbuilt's Archive charges too much and they only have half of the coverage.

For 1966 the color on this is in great quality, way better than the 1972 coverage I have from them

i can't believe they would elect Reagan over Pat Brown. This is California, not Oklahoma.

Well, I believe a guy in the video said "California is slowly turning Republican". Brown was starting to get to the point where he could not control anything, so Reagan was the best canidate in '66 imo.

Another guy in the video said the California voters "Were like a woman who can figure out which hat to buy at a store"

Yeah that's it.  If you think that was funny ABC's 68 coverage had William F. Buckley and Gore Vidal try to see who could insult each other the best. By EN they had to spilt them up.

Here's another Video I found with Reagan. This one is from Nixon's inauguration in 69, and it is kind of weird to watch after knowing the Nixon put Reagan on his enemies list.

Another thing that I found funny was that Mike Wallace from CBS was trying his best to steal Sam Donaldson and ABC's Thunder. It's kind of pathetic actually imo

Awesome video! I love the fact that Reagan was in the news campaigning for a candidate in 1948, and 40 years later was still in the news as President of the United States.

On the otherside, Democrats can never have the long-run candidate, they jump from newbie to newbie (Carter to Dukakis to Clinton to Kerry to Obama). I can trace George W. Bush all the way back to Ronald Reagan in 1980 at the least.

Why was Reagan on Nixon list? I thought both men are friends of each others.

Yeah, I doubt Reagan was on the enemies' list. They were friendly and Nixon was often an unofficial presidential envoy to the East Bloc during Reagan's presidency.
