Canadian PM Stephen Harper created a very great embarrassment during visit to Brazil because a toast. He wanted it to be before lunch, while President Rousseff prefers to hold this after. Before this, he decided to talk with Canadian journalists in Planalto Palace, while interviews, by tradition, are held on Itamaraty (Foreign Affairs Ministry's building), but he was refused by cerimonial. He went to Minister's toilet and only left after his desire being accepted by Brazilian government.

To be fair, the Grits in the past few years have made painting Harper as the reincarnation of Lucifer their focal point. With Harper gaining his majority and the NDP becoming the opposition, those of the natural governing party are very vocal in their spite. My contempt for Harper is matched by my contempt for Liberal patronage, which dilutes both somewhat.
