It is and always has been about the primary. I swear in the back of my mind they influenced  healthcare to go along Massy lines to sink Romney in the primary. They are trying to highlight his Mormonism to prop up Perry or Bachmann. Who are the least likely voters to vote for a Mormon? R's. But given the choice between a Mormon or a Socialist-Atheist-Muslim who hates white people (in theory) do you think they'd stay home?

Team Obama desperately doesn't want to face him because he is the only candidate who would be the favorite to beat him. Pawlenty is 50-50, Perry even less so and Bachmann would be crushed. They definitely wish Palin had jumped in that's for sure.

Obama should focus on the fact that Romney's father was born in another country, and belonged to a scary religion.  Is Romney ever a "real American" in the sense that Barack Obama is?  Also, what kind of strange things are being said at Romney's church?

Since when does it matter if a presidential candidate's father was born out of the country? Let's just roll with it for the sake of the argument, though, and assume that if a candidate's father was born out side of the country then it actually matters. Okay, so George Romney was born outside the US. Great. So was Obama's father.

Hmm, what type of strange things are being said at the Mormon church? I'm not a Mormon, nor do I know much about the Mormon church, but it seems a little foolish for Obama to focus on some unfounded suspicion of Romney's religion after all the heat he received for his sketchy church ties. Let's not forget that Obama's fellow congregationalists were people like Bill Ayers.

At this point, it appears that Obama and his team are desperate and that they actually consider Romney to be a threat -- which they should. So what if Romney is weird? The man has more business experience that Obama could ever hope for.

Why do I even bother?
