I heard today that Bobby Franklin, who was one of the more controversial people in the Georgia legislature, was found dead a month ago in his home. Presumably, he had a heart attack or something. I'm not going to speak ill of the dead, but I will say that him and people like him are the reason I believe in an afterlife.
