We know my feelings on more traditional powers dominating but I don't mind this. Here's hoping Napoli get through and face them!

I just think it's hilarious that it's not at all unrealistic at this point that the quaterfinals has more Cypriot teams than either English or German teams.

Napoli beat Cagliari 6-3 today in the highest scoring Serie A game this season. They just better have some goal scoring power left in them for Wednesday...

First team to come back from a goal down and win four games in a row in the history of the Premier League!

And only a point behind Spurs!

Jesus Christ, everyone is talking about this Arsenal match! Don't overlook Udinese and Lazio losing yesterday. We have a race (at least for third, maybe second and still a battle for first) in Serie A!

We beat Liverpool the other day, which was nice.

So, then. Who's done for this year? All the bottom three look utterly fycked, yet can we rule out a thrilling moment of fail from one of the B Class Lancashire clubs?

Looks as though Soton will be one of the replacements, which seems vaguely appropriate as they were once an absolute cast-iron fixture of top division football.

RIP Timo Konietzka, who among other things scored the very first Bundesliga goal.

I think that makes the first otherwise prominent man I know of to commit legal physician-assisted suicide (Konietzka was living in Switzerland as a retiree).

Mario Gomez has scored 4 goals today, only trailing Lionel Messi by 1.

15 minutes remain ...

I despise Inter but I root for Italian teams in CL. It's ashame they're out and in such heartbreaking fashion. It would have been so cool to possibly see three Italian teams in the final eight.

Bayern playing at home in the final is basically the only thing that can prevent another Barca champions league win, so I'm glad they're through to the next round.

Oh Phil. Phil, Phil, Phil. This game will probably see another 2 or 3 goals scored before it's all over.
