I typically support Liverpool in the EPL who incidentally play Arsenal tomorrow morning. Arsenal really looks on a downward trajectory. We shall see.

Liverpool have to be aggressive and go for three here. Frimpong is dying to get a red card.

Arsenal are in shambles. Wenger needs to go.

He needs to shoot the lock off his wallet.

They have to go up to Old Trafford next week too. And of course they could crash out of the Champions League this week.

Didn't really foresee myself making a MLS comment... but it's nice to see Robbie Keane get a well taken debut goal for LA Galaxy.

I would have preferred to see Robbie in hoops. However, I wish him the best in the California sun while Celtic are losing at home to St Johnstone....ugh.

Well done to Shamrock Rovers, with the help of a fantastic volley the other night they're first Irish club side to make the group stage of a European competition.
That seems to be Celtic Glasgow. Going by the jerseys. Grin

Who might make it in via the green table, btw. Sion who beat them (and thus eliminated Scotland from group stages entirely Shocked while Ireland get a club in Shocked ) seem to have used a player they weren't allowed to use.

I had a long rant about the state of Scottish football that I wrote up and lost because it timed out. Celtic and Rangers both get knocked out by the powerhouse clubs of Sion and Maribor. Gross. It wasnt so long ago that Celtic was playing competitive football in the group stages of the Champions League. Celtic and Rangers both recently played in the European cup finals. The league has just dropped so far in talent. In short, I miss Martin O'Neill and Henrik Larsson.

P.s. Celtic doesnt deserve to get in on a technicality.

Huh, well that is a good thing for the balance sheet.  Can't say I'm very confident of how things will go on the pitch.

Yeah, this match is incredibly depressing.

Ouch.  Those are games you have to win or at least draw if you don't want to be relegated...

Dundee United have always been my second favourite team.

I loved seeing them knock out the Gers today.

Rangers are in a bad way financially.

A Chelsea fan spit on my shirt last night after I complemented his team's performance. I will never understand the football hooliganism of English fans.

That's why Scots like to see them get beat.

Well some Scots but I guess that lot would consider themselves British first and foremost Smiley
