http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reform_Party_(United_States)_presidential_primaries,_2000

This article cites primaries occuring for the Reform party, even citing results. Do any of y'all know where it would be possible to find a schedule?

Regardless, this is election what-ifs, so I mind as well post a what-if or two. Is there anyone or anyway to save the Reform Party? Apparently Trump entered in the party's California primary, but apparently, Ron Paul and John Anderson were both considered potential candidates, and one can't forget Jesse Ventura as a possibility. I personally have a soft spot for Buchanan and would like him to still be the nominee and get a couple of percentage points, but that's probably not plausible. Is there any potential candidate who could have helped keep it alive?

Jesse Ventura, Gary Johnson, Ross Perot (again), or Ron Paul are the best bets. Buchanan was really tailored for the Constitution Party, and probaly made a mistake running for the Reform Party, and as much as I love Buchanan, he ruined the Reform Party. He lost its federal funding, and alienated the Liberal wing (who formed the pathetic Natural Law Party).

Ross Perot, Donald Trump, or Jesse Ventura can do all well and might steel some votes away from Bush, just like Ralph Nader did to Gore.

thanks to realisticidealist, I was able to get my hands on a couple pieces of info.
1. The Reform Party held a couple of primaries that went along with the regular schedule of things.
2. They also had a national mail primary that Buchanan won.
3. Specific primary results are here. Sadly, there are only four states that realisticidealist told me about, so I assume those were the only ones he could find results for, or the only ones that held individual primaries.

February 22: Michigan (Trump, 69.54%)
March 7: California (Trump, 36.96%)
March 7: Missouri (Buchanan, 75.17%)
June 6: Montana (Uncommitted, 100%)
August 11: National Mail Ballot (Buchanan)

Therefore, we get this itty bitty primary map to go on:

Blue-Businessman Donald Trump of New York
Red-Activist and former Whitehouse Communications Director Patrick J Buchanan of Virginia
Green-Uncommitted

PRE-POST EDIT: I'm thinking of moving all this info to Presidential Election Results and calling it "Third Party Primary Thread" or something like that. However, as of now, this will go here.

Incidentally, thanks to the link, I was able to find some stuff on 2000 Libertarian Party primaries...

2. Smith: 8.74%
3. Hines: 7.50%

I always had this feeling that the Reform Party would be stronger then today if it weren't for the 2000 primaries that put the death of the party.
