Incredibly negative.  I would instantly leave and never come back if my church started doing that.

At my old church, they would actually ask everyone to extend their hands in prayer or something over the RCIA candidates.  That was really weird, and I never participated.  If I wanted to be Pentecostal, I wouldn't go to a Catholic church...
