We have a comedy institute. We have an "oh snap" center. I think we should have a place where we put those posts that just make us shake our head and ask ourselves if the person just seriously posted that.

Please leave debate out of this. If you really must argue over something, please do so in the original topic.

If we amend it to "never won," then JFK.

Ike was the best post-war president from either party. Come to think of it, it kind of strikes me as odd that conservatives are so nostalgic for the 50s, when it was a time of high taxes, high regulation, massive government spending and expansion, and social discontent (which granted, didn't come to a head until the 60s, but still).

Massive spending?

The 50s was pre-Medicare.

We needed this thread. I was considering doing one myself (calling it "stupidity sh*tmine") but forgot about it.

Absurdity and stupidity aren't the same thing, Antony.

I had made a thread like that but it didn't last very long.

The level has risen and will continue to arise as the election approaches......but let's not derail Mr. Kemp's brilliant thread.

Why do we need threads documenting J.J., krazen, pbrower, CARLHAYDEN and jfern's posting histories?

So we can look back and see how right they were and how wrong we were of course.

Huntsman would make the best president, and then I'd go for Romney or Johnson.

Why not support Obama, as he's just like Huntsman, only black.

Or are you a racist?

Or, do you agree with Huntsman that Porkulus should have been bigger?

Our country is full of traitors who do not understand patriotism or support the war on terror.  George W Bush may well have been the greatest president to ever live!

It has become pretty clear that only a Paul or a Kucinich will fix our dangerous foreign policy mistakes here in the US of A.

Love it. Grin

Especially because the 1st guy would implement the opposite policies of the 2nd one...

Ron Paul 2012

If Obama wins 2012- Palin, Rubio, Mike Pence or Ran Paul in 2016
If Dem in 2016- Pence or Rubio in 2020

I think he wanted this so I will comply.

The only actively genocidal people I've ever met were Jewish, so they have to be one of them by default.

While it doesn't fit the description of this thread, pretty much any thread that jmfcst starts from his mobile turns into a deluge of absurdity.

that's because a certain pillsbury dough boy of ours has to go and wallow in my mobile threads as if they were his private mobile fecal pen.

opebo is a far more Christ-like individual than Michele Bachmann. Or most on this forum, including myself.

What would happen if Perry were President w/ 60 GOP Senate Seats?

Probably a reduction in military spending.

I'm curious, but where did you ever hear Perry talk about the military?  I frankly have not heard the GOP talking about it.

I think the 60 senate seats would say more about it than Perry.

Aside from Graham and McCain, I have not heard anyone even suggest higher military spending/activity.
