We should always take the position that any narrow GOP win is stolen.

I remember a time when this could have gone in a comedy goldmine.  Alas, any act will grow stale if maintained too long without being changed.

It would have avoided having W as President.

Only Politico would turn Paterno's death into a chance for more Gingrich bashing.

People defending Paterno, and people voting to nominate Gingrich for president. What the hell happened to America? Does nobody have any respect for doing the right thing anymore? Defending somebody who turned a blind eye to child molestation, and voting for the only speaker to ever be reprimanded for ethics violations (not to mention cheating on two wives, maybe three). What's next?

One of my proudest accomplishments on this forum is turning the spelling "Morman" into a commonly used one.

I didn't think you'd done much here, and I see you agree with that assessment.

For being a spectacular example of a failed joke:

Yawn. Prince George's County will smack this down hard in a referendum. The sanctity of traditional marriage has performed excellently at the ballot box.

Every time a post has those two words together, it should be put into this thread.

What's so bad about the words "ballot box"? Wink

This forum is beginning to scare me.

Just when you thought it was safe to surf the internet.

I've endorsed Romney out of the GOP field because he's the most likely to beat Obama and has the best governing experience. He's also the most like me and closest to my ideology. We just have so much in common and connect in so many ways.

Yet another reason for the jmfcsts to not Romney.

For forgetting a "like," combined with the alternate meaning of "Romney."

I do have a bad habit of leaving out words as I type, as I think faster than my fumbling fingers can manage.  (I'm old enough that when I went through high school, keyboarding classes were in the vocational building and attended by girls hoping to be secretaries when they graduated, not people in a college track curriculum.)  It could be worse.  The word I most often leave out is "not".

Stop trolling.

The last thing we need is this thread, we fought for, being trolled to death.

Roll Eyes

This thread is for absurd, ignorant, or bad posts.

If I have a thousand dollars, and some crazed mad man steals the money, and I only get the money back a few days later after "fighting for it", it makes no sense to offer thanks to the crazed mad man.

"Oh, you're the one who kidnapped my child? Thanks for giving it back a week later! I just love you!"

You've forgotten that for 2012, the figure to be used is ten thousand dollars a la Romney, not a mere thousand dollars.
