Wait, wait, wait...

A red avatar from Italy and your favorite team is Inter? We have another member that's exactly the same.  Tongue

My favorite teams are the Italian national team and Napoli.

German national team....have a soft spot for the US national team as well.
In club football...I like Eintracht Frankfurt somewhat. I like Köln too. Don't really care all that much, though.

I support the clubs from Northern Germany out of regional patriotism.

National teams goes something like:

Sweden

England
Germany
Holland

Czech Republic

France
Croatia

Of course, I like some other teams better than the non-Sweden one listed, but they typically don't do well enough for me to care. That would be the other anglo-saxon and Scandinavian teams.

I'm not that committed to club football, but I guess Djurgården, Arsenal, Milan, Celtic in their respective leagues.

Sunderland AFC

There's also a massive list of other clubs that I like to do well in their various leagues (including some very small ones), but, basically, Sunderland.

Spain/Brazil/France women's/US women's/other South American teams.

I don't care much for the other types, but I like Breton teams like Rennes, Nantes, Guingamp, Brest or Lorient.

Racing Genk (as mentioned) and teams from mining cities in general. (Schalke 04 jumps to mind)

As for national teams:
Belgium      Germany,Italy     The Netherlands            Whoever is the Underdog

The Swiss national team and Neuchâtel Xamax (don't ask me why I root for a team from the French-part of my country)

Germany, Arsenal and DC United. I guess I should support FC Köln in the Bundesliga since my family's from there, but I basically just watch those games as a detached spectator.

The Eintracht, of course.
Also, SG Riederwald because I have close friends in the first, second, and Alte Herren squads! Oh, and what Al said. Sunderland even feature among them, mostly because of him and for lack of any better club to like in that League.

Barcelona is the only team I always had a soft spot for since I was a kid.
I remember loving the color combination and feeling awe every time I saw Camp Nou.
