I can PX's excuse.  English isn't his first language;

Or yours, apparently.

I can PX's excuse.  English isn't his first language; he had trouble a few days ago understanding how a calendar works.

Yeah, that happens a lot with us, non-MENSA members.

MENSA thanks you for disassociating yourself from them.

Well, obviously I am of no use to them. With you they have already reached their quota of hacks.

Hacks are welcome, along with everyone else.  Those with an inability to qualify need not apply.  It would more like they don't have any use for you.

Yeah, we kind of got that some time ago.

Well, considering what is happening in your county, I'm sure sure that deal with limitations.  Smiley

I see that besides hacks MENSA also welcomes dyslectics.

Well, Joe, what part of "at least 14 months" don't you understand?  Smiley  I certainly think Obama will be in office for at least 14 months.  I don't know of anyone expecting him to leave early.

(Franky, the argument I have for staying at least that long is two words:  "President Biden.")

It's 7PM EST Thursday by the way.  History books will record it as Obama, Kid Rock, Packers vs Saints.

I was hoping for him as the 'pregame' show for the debate that way the candidates could all respond, but right before the game could work.

I can only imaging all the catcalls in sports bars across the country next Thursday.

Unfortunately for the country, Obama missed his chance during the stimulus - instead of taking the pain of state budget cuts and choosing to invest in projects that would produce career-length private sector jobs, he opted for temporary projects along with the protection of state government jobs.  Now both the temporary projects and state government jobs are being cut anyway...he simply delayed the painful cut to government payrolls (mostly democrats that are part of his base) from 2009 to 2011-12, and therefore he has nothing on the private sector side to show for the stimulus.

he stands 14 months away from his potential reelection, and the economy over the next 6 months is gong to suck at best...so his hopes are  pinned on the economic performance over the last 8 months leading up to the election....which he will most likely lose due to the fact that he simply had zero economic imagination.

Hopefully the book will divide it up by chapters!

I'd rather shoot both of my eyes out with a sling shot than read a px-J.J. argument.

"I can PX's excuse" is not coherent English.  That is all.  Anything else you say is irrelevant.

And don't call me Franky.

PX and DrScholl are objecting because I said Obama will be in office "for the next 14 months at least."  I'm not supporting impeachment.  Smiley

That's twice in a row you've replied to my posts here with a non sequitur.  Good job.  Now I seriously am beginning to wonder if English really is your first language.

he's giving the speech at 7pm EDT (6pm CDT, 5pm MDT, 4pm PDT) next Thursday?!  isn't that an hour before what is considered the beginning of primetime?!

ok, this is dumb, he should have just did it this week from the Oval Office at around 9-10pm EDT.

Well, 4pm PDT is certainly not even remotely prime time. But I guess that was the only time that Boehner would let Obama speak.

He could have made the speech from the Oval Office ten days ago and concluded with, "I am therefor calling both Houses of Congress back into session to deal with this crisis."

I would have supported it.  Everybody said, "Vacation first; jobs later."
