The Wilson Perkins Allen Opinion Research survey — taken just a few days after the Riverfront Times published a picture of Kinder at a pantless bar with a former Penthouse Pet — finds Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon at 48 percent to Kinder's 41 percent.
It also shows Kinder's favorable rating at 33 percent, up 9 points since May.
The poll of 600 likely voters, released first to POLITICO, was taken Aug. 10, 11 and 14.
