This poll oversampled Republicans. I think Obama will win this one.

And if not...it's fraud anyway. Republicans can't win any state fairly.

Republicans have to win Missouri before election day in order to have a shot at winning overall.

They really should be up by double digits here, this is honestly very surprising to see.

Missouri doesn't work that way except in very extreme circumstances.

You're right, they can't. They have nothing to go on anymore except demagoguery and lies.

A 2 point GOP win here gives the Dems the same map as 2008, minus Indiana but that's about it.

Missouri and North Carolina have pretty much switched places.  NC is a true swing state and Missouri is a tease for landslide situations only.

In case anyone didn't click the link:

Obama is +4 over Bachmann

Obama is +2 over Gingrich

Also all of the Republicans have really bad favorability ratings. Interestingly, Romney's is even worse than Bachmann's.

I know you are upset the GOP aren't doing as well as you would like, but that doesn't mean these early polls are wrong.  The GOP has chosen some conservative people in their primary and after the George Walker Bush failure it is not surprising that people would be slow to return to those conservative policies

McCain carried Missouri in 2008, when the economy was in collapsing and the GOP was crippeled by the unpopularity of George W. Bush. Unless 2012  turns out to be an even better year for the Democrats than 2008 (which it probably wont be), Missouri will go Republican.

I also think Missouri will vote Republican.  However it will be a narrow victory, I just enjoy seeing the conservatives freak out over their candidates not crushing Obama like they dream off.  Most polls posted here have a conservative or two questioning the validity of the poll because it doesn't make their dream scenario likely

Okay. It looks like I misunderstood you.
