Yougov/Economist national GOP primary poll, conducted Oct. 1-4.

This was an online poll (albeit one with a much better track record than Zogby), so all the standard caveats apply.

Cain 26%
Romney 21%
Perry 12%
Gingrich 10%
Paul 9%
Bachmann 5%
Huntsman 3%
Santorum 1%

If it was just between Perry and Romney:

Romney 45%
Perry 35%
no preference 20%

They also have a matchup that includes Christie, Giuliani, and Palin, who get 9%, 5%, and 5% respectively.

Aren't these YouGov polls junk too? IIRC, they are internet-based and allow for multiple votes.

They're definitely not good, but they're better than Zogby, at least IIRC.  Not that that's saying anything much.

Yougov is a serviceable pollster for Britain but awful for the US.  IIRC they had Democrats leading in the generic ballot all through 2010.
