Wasn't that what the Watchmen tried to show with Roeschach? Basically an atheist teabagger. They probably exist in quite a few numbers in the redlight towns of Nevada or the cow towns of Wyotana.

As awesome as Rorschach might be, I don't see him as the equivalent of batman though there're many similarities.
