Actually it's not.

The ETI Act stops funding for our combat forces and prevents the transfer of weapons... this Bill does not do either.

It does seem that some have a sort of visceral reaction to the world 'military' and don't consider the intent or the context.

I do find it odd that we are forcing our values on another country... I would be sure that most voting 'aye' on this wouldn't normally be in favour of that.
