This probably Democrats' best chance at regaining power.  That was pretty much the Republican strategy back in 2008 and it worked like gangbusters for them.

If I were Nancy Pelosi, I would quietly undermine Obama at every opportunity.  This would be good payback for how Obama treated Pelosi and House Democrats in 2010.

Good lord. This seems to come up every two years now. I've heard that "Democrats should've intentionally lost in '06." I've heard "Democrats should've intentionally let McCain become President." Now we're talking about "Democrats should actively lose elections in the future."

Should we ever win office?

Democrats shouldnt have lost 2006, but they should have let McCain won.  If McCain had won, we would be looking at two thirds majorities in both Houses for Democrats.

If I didn't know you from before 2008, I'd have written you off as a one-note concern troll long ago, dude.

He was saying the same things in 2008, that the Democrats should intentionally lose in 2008 in order to win in the future. Apparently every party should always conspire to lose Presidential elections so they can win Congressional elections.

Well, by the looks of their Congressional map, the Arkansas Democrats seem to be hoping Obama loses in 2012.

Why not go a step further and purposely lose every single race, from President to County Treasurer? That way, Republicans will have no excuses and will universally fall to an anti-incumbent wave.

Also, Karl Rove accused of throwing 2006 elections.

granted, the Republicans should counter this by planning to lose in 2012 to preserve their majorities. They should nominate an unqualified pizza mogul to accomplish this task.

What bold statements! I think you should become a senior strategist for the Republican party. They could use someone of your caliber!

Oh come on.  Just imagine what Cain, Romney, Perry, Gingrich, or Bachmann would do during the two years in between.
