Hollenbach is up by 7 for Treasurer. That's the tightest race in Kentucky right now. Across the board the Republicans have gained about two or three points.

What happened with Farmer in the Ag Commish race - getting completely demolished on this night is quite odd.  I thought only Eastern Kentucky hated him for his jokes.

Based on the early results, things would have to change a lot in Ohio for the present results in these ballot issues to differ from the present outcomes.  Not that I wouldn't have expected it.

Based on JLT's Virginia calls, it appears like:

#1 - TCTC, but Miller should have the edge with what's out.
#6 - Northam will win.
#10 - Watkins will win.  The state website is screwed up on this one.
#13 - Too early to call.
#17 - Too early to call.
#19 - Smith should win, though still too early.
#20 - Stanley probably has the edge here given what's out, but still TCTC.
#21 - Edwards should win, given what's out.  Not a 100% call yet, but close.
#22 - Garrett will win.
#29 - Too early to call.
#31 - Not close.  Favola dominating.
#33 - Too early to call.
#36 - Too early to call.
#37 - Too early to call.
#38 - TCTC, but given what's out, Puckett should have the edge.
#39 - Too early to call in my bookm but Barker looks good for now.

Kinda fun to watch the racial voting creak on.  Bryant will probably break 60%, just FYI.  And No on 26 will go down.

Btw, I don't think the Pubbies are going to get that second seat in VA.

CNN said there is no exact trend for tonight, but I think this is looking to be a very positive night for progressives.

Let's see:

* MS Gov: Republican easily elected, Republican measure fails - it's a wash
* KY Gov: Democrat easily re-elected
* NJ: Democrats hold House & Senate (?)
* VA: Democrats could hold House & Senate (?)
* ME: Republican measure strongly fails
* OH: Unions win, Health Care loses -  it's a wash
* IA: Democrat on track to win, State Senate likely remains Democratic

The Republicans currently hold the House in VA, do they not?

Republicans are basically on the path to having a 2/3rds super-majority in the House of Delegates, for what that's worth.  They've won basically every seat they could.

That last precinct came in big for Reeves, with his win and Stanley's win, THE GOP takes the VA SENATE!
Wait, seriously?

The VA website reads differently for Spotslyvania than the AP.  I presume the former is right, but who knows at this point.

Also, the VA DEMOCRAT HOUSE MINORITY LEADER was destroyed.

Yet, not a post mentioning it here... wonder why?

Yes, this is a Democrat-leaning forum.  Thanks for pointing that out to us.

Sounds painful. Anyways, any details on that? Or on the VA House elections in general.

As was already pointed out here, Dems got crushed. 66-32-1 GOP (the one Indy caucuses with the GOP), with one race still outstanding.  Was 59-39-2 GOP.
