He will be a fool to run for re-election in 2014. I don't think Texas is trending to the left, but I will understand it if the voters pull the lever for a Democrat in 2014 if Perry doesn't step aside for someone new.

Texas is undoubtedly trending left.

This thread is isn't really about that. Come to think of it, I really shouldn't have brought it up at all. It is catnip for politicos.
