It's not in any state, but if it was, it would be Oregon.  Matt Groening is from Oregon, his dad is named Homer, his mom Marge, his grand pa is Abe.  Clearly Matt=Bart.

Or it's Oh, hi Maude!

They exist an alternate universe where America is a single nation without states, only administrative provinces. And, you know, people are all yellow.
Ignoring all those times they went to other states.  Like that one time they went to the 5 corners.

Where is that? All I know of is the four corners (UT, CO, AZ, NM). Is there an actual five corners?
No, just another joke.  There was another time where they took an exit off of the freeway and the sign said something like "Exit here for Maine, Kentucky, Arizona and Idaho".

It pisses me off that I've lived all of my 38 years in various heavyish tornado areas and have never seen one or even been all that close to one.

Maybe "pisses me off" isn't the right phrase.

Indeed.

But if it does exist, it's in the Pacific Northwest.

You can rule out every state. It's been clearly established that they don't live in any actual state. Trying to figure out what "real" one they live in is a pointless exercise.

Thank you.  I said this pages ago.  I don't understand how this conversation is still going on.
Hell, the OP freaking said it!

That's been the "smart person"'s answer since page 1.
