what's the story on your sig...is that something you built in your backyard?

jmf, the browns Torie employs built it while he sipped daiquiris and toked on some weed.....be serious, there isn't any dirt under those fingernails Wink

Actually the overseer was a very talented white boy. I needed a specialist to handle the rocks, some of which weighed 3000 pounds or more, and required a two story crane to put in place. Fortunately the adjacent lots on either side of the house were empty, so the cranes could drive onto them - otherwise, the crane would have had to have been massive, lifting the coco flat rocks over the house itself - a rather frightening prospect if one dropped! I selected each rock myself at the rock quarry. I'm fussy about my rocks - they needed to be big and beautiful!  Behind the main water fall, is a love seat, where one can make out behind a wall of pulsating water. Smiley

Bushie, just find an f'ing job, and work at holding it. KISS baby. You need to focus on just one thing, finding and holding a job, and showing some personal discipline.  The rest is noise. Basically you are a man of 31 who is veritably powerless, which to me seems totally emasculating. Get some power. That involves being economically independent.

But I think you kind of enjoy these posts from me and others, as in ignoring them. In that sense, I am beginning to wonder if I am contributing to your enabling.

I find this personally embarrassing, but I am at the point where it must be done. One pic is three years ago, the other a couple of weeks ago. All it takes is will and personal discipline, and once you get with the program, it is not hard. What we have here, is neither - just pathetic excuses. But it's Jeff's life. I find it all quite sad - and depressing really.

You should really try to get down to 190 at the very least then, purely for health reasons. You'd still be pretty plump.

Really, my ideal weight would be around 180.  I realize that unless i make a major lifestyle change, it's going to be near impossible to get down under 200.  It's not impossible, but near impossible.  I figure 205-210 is a heck of a lot better than 285 where I started all this.  I'll still be borderline obese, but I'll be a lot healthier being only 25-30 pounds overweight instead of 100+ pounds.

I'm 6 feet 1 inch, and weigh 165-170 pounds.

I'm between 6'2" and 6'3" and I weigh around 175-190. Your target weight should be at least in that range, Bushie.

Surely you realize you guys are extremely abnormal.

Do I look emaciated to you?  Maybe I need another shirtless snap.  Tongue

Things have changed dramatically just over the last 5 hours. First of all, the opportunity in Kansas busted.  That wasn’t the end of it, though.  I got a call from a firm in, guess…, Utah, Ogden, Utah.  I’ve got a job up there as a junior web developer if I want it starting Monday, September 10, 2012.  I have talked it over with my parents, and I will be on my way to Utah on Monday, September 3, 2012.  I will be staying in an extended stay hotel for probably the first two months until I get a real good feel for how I will like the job.  This is my opportunity, and I’m taking it!!  This application process started earlier in August even while Xerox was playing its game with me, but I just kept it under my hat for a while as Kansas was my first choice.

Are you going to tell us why the Manhattan "solution" went bust?  So many job offers made and then withdrawn. Odd that.

Is it safe to assume that Jeff really has a job now?
