That must have been a weird day at the passport office.  "Hey guys, look at this - somebody from Oklahoma is applying for a passport!"  "What?  No way..."  "I'm serious!  It's spelled correctly and everything!  I wonder if he knows what it's even for."

The fact that your final destination is outside the U.s. isn't really relevant, you're still leaving on a domestic flight the same way anyone else stopping in Minneapolis is.

I used to think that too, until I flew long-haul international for the first time and had the check-in attendant yell at me for showing up late for the domestic leg of the flight.  Apparently it does make a difference, and you still have to show up 2 hours before.

It wouldn't be a true Bushie escapade without him being royally scammed in some way.  But I'm sure he'll be along in a minute to justify why it's all okay, and that it's God's will and so on.

The more you guys insist on telling him to "slow down" before he speeds headfirst into the next crash in his ongoing train wreck of a life, the more he picks up speed.  Try reverse psychology instead.  Maybe that will work.

Or... perhaps someone should try and communicate with him posing as this 'God' fellow.  He seems to actually listen to him (though I'm at a loss to know how).

Having your parents on Facebook in the first place is weird and unwise, but then so are you I suppose.  And of course they're not saying this pipe dream is a bad idea; they were also fully supportive of you scamming them and your grandma those couple of times.

From what I've heard this even works if, heaven forbid, I'm hurt on the job and have to go to the Emergency Room and end up hospitalized for a few days, I can get my entire bill paid for or at least heavily discounted.
