If the election were held next week, who would you vote for?

For the purposes of this poll assume that any candidate in the Republican field currently is the nominee versus President Obama.

As of right now, after a lot thought, I personally don't care for any in the Republican field.  Mitt Romney is the best of the crop, but even he's scary to me.  I would have to vote to reelect President Obama.

I don't like a lot of what he's done, but I like some of the stuff.  His negatives definitely outweigh his positives, but when his negatives are balanced with those of his Republican counterparts, they don't look quite as bad.

I can't vote, obviously, but I hope Obama's re-elected. Even considering that I think he's done a pretty good job on his own merits, the alternatives are laughable. The best thing I can say about any of the Republican field is that I wouldn't feel scared if Romney or Huntsman were President.

Huntsman as GOP nominee, Johnson as 3rd party, otherwise Obama.

That's how I feel, except I'm not sure Obama is a sane vote, either.  This is definitely not a good crop of candidates.  If someone like Mike Huckabee were running, I would have a hard time not voting for him, but since he declined to run, I'm pretty much stuck with President Obama.

I guess I could live with a President Romney or maybe a President Gingrich, but I would not be happy with either one of them.

Would support: Paul, Huntsman, Gingrich

Unsure: Romney

Would not support: Bachmann, Santorum, Perry, Cain

Ain't no way, no how I'm gonna be supporting President Obama. Third party if the one of the latter four gets the nom.

Considering that Bob Kelleher isn't running, it has to be Obama.

EDIT: Apparently Bob died in May?! RIP. Sad

I'd support Obama over any of the crazies.

I'd go Huntsman over Obama.

I'd be willing to consider Romney or Gingrich (wouldn't be scared of having either at the helm).

Ultimately though, it looks likely that I'll support Obama's reelection.

Obama against any republican... I could think about supporting Huntsman or Johnson if I were from a safe democrat or republican state, only as a protest vote.

I would vote for Gingrich, Huntsman, or even Paul

Vote third party if it was Gary Johnson, or the others.

And Obama only  if it was Romney.

I would vote (if I was old enough, 2014 cant come fast enough Smiley ) Republican if Romney, Perry, Paul, Gingrich, Cain, Roemer, Johnson, or Huntsman. Paul is my prefered choice.

I wont, under circumstances, vote for Bachmann, Obama and Santorum. So, in a Bachmann-Obama or Santorum-Obama race, I would become a third party supporter. Most likely Libertarian, Constitution, or Reform.
