I don't know why you think Rick Santorum's name is so offensive. "Santorum" is not crude.

Now "santorum"- that should be infractable! But seriously, go Rick!

Why am I seeing nothing of that "surge" in actual pollnumbers yet? Sad

Be patient. Today will be the first post-Santorum victory polling, and only for 1/5 of the numbers.

A friend of mine did a daily extrapolation and said Santorum is probably at 25% and Newt down to 15% today.

Hmm.. does that mean Santorum was ahead or almost even with Romney in last night's numbers?  I assume it must have been very close.

Nate Silver from 538 tweeted "Reverse engineering the Gallup tracking poll, looks like Wed.'s results were about Romney 32, Santorum 32, Gingrich 16."

I actually thought Santorum would gain a little more today than he did.. but maybe I'm doing the math of each night's sample wrong in my head.. looking forward to seeing some more national polling from other polling companies.
