This is a fake. I really just can't buy that Republicans are now into Paul's isolationist program.

They are a relatively new polling outfit. In late Oct. 2010 they said:

44% Noem (actual: 48%)
42% Herseth-Sandlin (46%)
  7% Marking (6%)

49% Daugaard (62%)
44% Heidepriem (38%)

Why is anyone surprised? Paul is expected to dominate these small prairie/mountain west states.

Unfortunately for Paul this primary doesn't occur until June at which time it will only be him and one other candidate left.

He got 16.5% here in 2008 so this really isn't that great of an improvement.

Good for Bachmann too.

If only more states could have Romney in fifth.

Not bombing people you don't like =/= isolationism.

The Dakotas are probably among Paul's strongest states. He actually came pretty close to winning North Dakota in '08. They're like his equivalent of Romney's New Hampshire or Massachusetts.

So Bachmann and Perry are polling better here than in IA?

Hes not an isolationist. He is a noninterventionist. There is a drastic difference.

78% of them aren't and won't. Once the field is narrowed, Paul won't stand a chance.
